Where the money goes
With Barclaycard Breathe, 0.5% of everything you spend goes to PURE, an environmental charity that we strongly believe is getting it right. Together, we’re supporting a range of projects that deliver immediate benefit and showcase models for future action. We all know small changes such as turning appliances off and not filling the kettle more than you need can make a difference. But if the energy we used was clean in the first place, it would be even better. The projects PURE supports help the UK migrate to cleaner energy and help developing countries leapfrog straight to it. The idea is that, in developing countries, we can prevent ‘dirty’ energy from being implemented, while at home we need to work to cure the energy problems we already have.
